Day 12: Watching Clyde Sleep

Clyde, my boyfriend's mixed beagle something or other, is about about 4 and gets grumpier the older he gets. He's always been a kind of stand-offish, barks at all noises, whines, grunts, and is very persistant. If he wants to sit in your lap, he will (he's about 30-40lbs). OH, and he sneezes in people's faces; I think it's one of his favorite hobbies. He's pretty agressive when he's around other male dogs, and cries like a big ol' baby when female dogs are around (just stranger dogs)- so we thought that getting him fixed might help at least that behavior. It did for about two days after the surgery (but he happened to still be drugged up and very drowsy)- he was back to his normal self in a week. I don't think we'll ever figure him out. He's just a grumpy, paranoid little doggie.
I don't even know how to transition without sounding mean... so, Clyde makes me happy when he's sleeping. He looks so peaceful, comfortable and just happy. He's not worrying about car doors slamming outside, dogs walking nearby, or anything. He's in his dream world, snoring and kicking his little paws :)
