Woah, what a week!

I'm exhausted. I've been exhausted.

This week went by so quickly since we've been super busy with moving, unpacking, fixing some house things, yard work, grocery shopping, housewares/appliance shopping, and spending more time - than we have in the past year - with good friends and family!

I'm so happy that a holiday weekend followed this crazy week (who am I kidding? It's been crazy for much longer than a week)!

I started work yesterday (well, helped out for about 3 hours), and won't go back until Tuesday (It'll come quicker than I know it, though). I'm so excited about work! I didn't think I'd be this excited, but I really am. Also, being back in Fayetteville (so far) has been pretty nice. I've loved getting to spend so much time (that never happens) with my family and my friends that live here. AND It's Easter, so we'll be going to a couple of family cookouts today, then coming home to rest some more and spend time with our pets :)

[setup number 1: Bed on wall]

The pups & kitty are adjusting very well. At first, they were all pretty scared. Especially Juggernaut (kitty, for anyone unfamiliar); he didn't come out of his kennel until about two/three hours after we got to the house (actually, he jumped into his litter box the second we set that up for him, used the bathroom and then laid down and wouldn't come out). But once we brought all of the furniture and boxes inside they recognized everything and became much more comfortable. Juggernaut's been roaming this place up and down since then and you can just tell how happy he is now.

[Setup number 2: We moved the bed to the window instead of the wall; It makes the room feel larger this way - and the pets like to look outside]
[We built this fire pit; I'm so proud and excited]
[Best steak dinner ever - followed by another dark chocolate/vegan cake]

P.S. We started eating meat again, this week. We're still working on a plan to keep eating healthy, but something that'll include meat so that it's easier to enjoy dinners out with friends and family cookouts! As for right now - we're just kind of eating whatever we want. We deserve it.
