It's pretty silly that toenail polish makes me happy... but it's true.
Fingernail polish never works for me, it chips after only a couple of hours (even with top coats)- I've really never been much of a fan of my fingernails, anyway... I prefer my toenails. If I want to wear some crazy neon color or a pattern then I can do it on my feet and then hide them with shoes if they turn out horrible and I'm too lazy to remove the paint :) it's a win-win.
Also, It's pretty nice to pamper yourself every once in a while
